Job Title: Strategic Accounts Manager
Based: McKinney, TX
Position Reports to: Director of Sales. North Texas
The Strategic Accounts Manager will lead the effort in providing value to our team by developing, enhancing, and maintaining relationships with architects, consultants, general contractors, property managers, and building owners. This role will primarily be responsible for implementing strategies to increase specification presence and provide support to our strategic partners in the design and manufacturing communities for all the product lines we represent.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop new relationships with local specifiers by offering technical guidance by writing specifications and creating good consultative relationships.
Create and implement strategies to extend and maintain the Carlisle specification presence as it pertains to roofing, waterproofing, gypsum board, roof foam and coatings, metal edge product lines, and any other applicable CSL product lines.
Align with strategic architectural/consultant clients to implement the Carlisle Building Envelope system and the NVELOP warranty.
Build relationships/partnerships with nonprofit and public organizations to encourage purchasing through the TIPS program.
Work with school districts and educational specifiers to increase opportunities across all product lines.
Join state or regional chapters of both School Business Official and Facility Manager groups and attend chapter meetings.
Utilize our CRM database for job tracking and customer information for prospecting.
Create and perform AIA’s, lunch and learns, product knowledge events, and demo/training days.
Work closely with the Carlisle Strategic Accounts team to develop strategies to increase the CSL relationships with consultants and building owners.
Become involved and join committees for local industry organizations (IIBEC, AIA, CSI, etc.)
Required Skills/Education:
Bachelor’s Degree
Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Roofing Knowledge/Experience is strongly preferred
Total Compensation: Up to $120,000/year + benefits. Compensation package is commensurate with experience, proven performance, and aptitude for the position. Necessary equipment and resources included. References are required.
